TITANS STUDENT ATHLETES

While being able to hit a 60 mph fastball is part and parcel of baseball, the Titans Baseball organization expects their players to use their heads both on and off the field.  Parents of all Titans players are encouraged to let the coaches and managers know when their son or daughter may be letting their baseball commitments or other activities interfere with their academics.

All players should understand that playing baseball at any level is a privilege accorded to those with both the athletic skill and the personal commitment to successfully manage both their academic and athletic activities.  Where athletics is having an effect on academics, academics must come first.  Those player who go on to play baseball at higher levels must know how to balance their commitments on and off the field to be successful in both.

All Titans teams expect their players to maintain a level of academic success as determined by their parents and teachers.  When students do not meet those criteria, the coaches and managers can and will impose restrictions on baseball activities until such time as player / student demonstrates progress toward reaching those desired level of academic success.

The players on the page links to the left are those that have excelled in both baseball and their academic pursuits, and bring a great deal of pride to the Titans Baseball Organization.
